- Transported 28 tons of simulators to Poland using a “modular method” of disassembly, shipment, and reassembly
- Ensured safety with vibration-free vehicles… Optimized air routes considering national airspace regulations
- Proven expertise and reliability in defense logistics for fighter jets, helicopters, and more… “Contributing to the globalization of K-Defense”

CJ Logistics, an innovative technology-driven company, has once again proven its capabilities as a logistics partner for the globally rising K-Defense industry by successfully transporting highly sensitive fighter jet training equipment.
The company announced on the 24th that it had completed a defense logistics project transporting two fighter jet training simulators to Poland. A Full Mission Simulator (FMS) and an Operational Flight Trainer (OFT), produced at Korea Aerospace Industries’ (KAI) Goseong plant, were delivered to the Polish Air Force Base in Mińsk Mazowiecki over a five-week period from December last year to January this year.
Like main defense assets such as fighter jets and tanks, simulators also contain precision electronics and complex mechanical structures, requiring extreme care during transport. They are highly sensitive to external shocks and vibrations, making specialized logistics expertise essential.
To ensure safe delivery, CJ Logistics adopted a modular transport method, disassembling the simulators before shipment and reassembling them at the destination. The equipment was broken down into 35 components, individually packaged, and transported through domestic land transport, air freight, and local inland transport in Poland. A total of 28 tons of cargo was moved, with 15 vibration-free vehicles deployed during ground transport in both Korea and Poland to minimize external impact. After arrival in Poland, the cargo went through strict customs clearance, inspections, and inbound processing before being reassembled into its final form.
In this project, CJ Logistics also demonstrated its expertise in air route optimization, taking into account national airspace restrictions and security requirements. Since simulators are classified as military cargo, direct flights to Poland were restricted. Instead, the company designed an alternative route via Vancouver, Canada. Although the detour extended transit time compared to a direct flight, it provided the best balance of efficiency and security, underscoring CJ Logistics’ defense logistics capabilities.
Leveraging modular transport and route optimization, CJ Logistics continues to strengthen its presence in the defense logistics sector and build global trust. Last year, the company successfully transported KAI’s T-50TH fighter jet—disassembled into fuselage, wings, vertical tail, and engine—to Thailand’s Takhli Air Force Base. In 2022, it delivered nine T-50B aircraft of the Republic of Korea Air Force’s Black Eagles aerobatic team to the UK for an international airshow, also using the modular method. Beyond these projects, CJ Logistics has accumulated extensive experience in transporting tanks, helicopters, and other defense assets, securing its position as a core logistics partner.
Jang Young-ho, Head of CJ Logistics’ IFS Division, stated:
“Thanks to our specialized defense logistics technologies and accumulated expertise from handling various cargo types, we successfully carried out the Poland simulator transport. We will continue to enhance our professionalism to ensure stable logistics operations, boost competitiveness and reliability, and contribute to the globalization of K-Defense.”
