Global supply chains are becoming more tightly and rapidly connected than ever before. Consumers place orders across multiple channels, and companies must build trust through fast and predictable delivery. In this evolving landscape, logistics has moved beyond the simple function of transportation and has become essential infrastructure that connects markets and opportunities.
In response to these changes in the global logistics environment, CJ Logistics has officially launched its Saudi Global Distribution Center (GDC), a strategic hub connecting the Middle East. More than a simple geographic expansion, this milestone represents the full-scale implementation of a global logistics strategy that combines advanced technology with operational excellence. It lays an important foundation for expanding the competitiveness of K-logistics onto the world stage.
Expanding the Horizon of Connectivity, The Launch of the Saudi GDC Logistics now operates on the premise of a global network that transcends national borders. As products manufactured around the world reach consumers through diverse routes, the key lies in building stable and predictable supply chains. CJ Logistics has consistently pursued a strategy of expanding our proven domestic logistics technologies and operational expertise into overseas markets. At the center of this effort is the Saudi GDC (Global Distribution Center). The launch of this facility is not merely the opening of a new center, but a strategic turning point in applying and extending Korea’s advanced logistics systems to the global market.

A New Hub for Middle Eastern Logistics: The Value and Role of the Saudi GDC In February, CJ Logistics officially announced the grand opening of the Saudi GDC at the Integrated Logistics Special Zone of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Built with an investment of approximately KRW 60 billion, this comprehensive logistics hub spans 20,000 square meters and has the capacity to process more than 20,000 parcels per day.
